Hello, thank you for taking the time to review our website. I would like to take the time to introduce myself. My name is Jeremy Lloyd Findlay. I am the owner and president of J. Lloyd Builder, Inc. I am the youngest of six children and I am a native of Newport News, VA.  I began my building career at a very young age. Every time I would turn around my parents would begin a new remodeling project. I spent much of my time along side my oldest brother Greg, also a home builder. After I graduated from East Carolina University in 1995, I moved to Richmond and began working for a large production builder. This is when I learned the organizational and business components to building homes.  The next several years I worked as a project manager for a custom home builder in Williamsburg. I started my business in 2002. I have built primarily in James City County. I have also completed several projects in the City of Williamsburg and York County. We have experience in the finest neighborhoods; Governors Land, Kingsmill, Fords Colony, Newtown, Stonehouse, Wexford Hills, Greensprings, and many places in between.  In 2017 I participated as a builder in the Habitat for Humanity Builder Blitz.  In my free time I enjoy golf, coaching youth sports, and the outdoors. My wife Susan of 20 years and I have three children. I pride myself on listening to my clients, paying attention to detail, and providing unrivaled service with an honest business approach. Our loyal team of subcontractors and suppliers will provide our clients an enjoyable  homebuilding experience.
